1985 I bought my first kite for 50 DM but the right fire hasn't ignited this for kitesporting. The discovery of aerial pictures in a photo magazine let me build a double Conyne as first kite with 2.5 m of span width. The result convinced my storekeeper (kite store Göttingen). He hired me as student temporary help in sale and production. The first camera mounting was a simple wood construction. A later construction for S VHS full format camerae can looked on the official Fanö video ' 92 inclusive of air video recordings. |

I collected much know how
however only by the cooperation on Till Habermanns (inventor of the
"Twin", the still best Quadliner!!) kite manufactory
"cut". Close to quad line kites it was only obvious to develop
quad line soft cell kites.
I already flew my own constructions before the "Quadrofoils" appeared from overseas. With the brothers of Habermann, Claus Wirsen and Uwe Gryzbeck I became German runner-up in the quadlines innovative Class, where the first for us class flew the Twin-Marionette once: |
